Sonoma Valley Hospital offers an outstanding opportunity for a per diem shift CT/Radiological Tech who is looking for a career move to a small community hospital where excellence is the cornerstone. This not-for-profit, independent district hospital is nestled in Sonoma Valley in the heart of California’s wine country. JOB SUMMARY/FUNCTIONS: The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Under general supervision, performs radiographic examinations appropriate to the patient's age-specific needs following established policies and protocols. Performs CT/radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as designated. May have individual responsibility for specified radiographic procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Education, Certifications and Experience):

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: One to two years Rad Tech experience, CT experience required.
Licensure: Valid California CRT; valid ARRT.
Certification: CA Fluoroscopy certificate; current CPR; venipuncture certificate.

ABOUT THIS POSITION: This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Imaging Services. This is a per diem opening, so hours and shifts may vary according to the needs of the hospital. 

17% pay differential for night shift, plus a 4% differential on the weekends. Must be willing to take rotating call.
