JOB SUMMARY/FUNCTIONS: The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
Under general supervision, performs radiographic examinations appropriate to the patient's age-specific needs following established policies and protocols. Performs CT/radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as designated. May have individual responsibility for specified radiographic procedures.
• Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures and protocols.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Education, Certifications and Experience):
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
ABOUT THIS POSITION: This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Imaging Services. This is a per diem opening, so hours and shifts may vary according to the needs of the hospital.
17% pay differential for night shift, plus a 4% differential on the weekends. Must be willing to take rotating call.
